As a result, the lists of various countries now there are 2432 individuals and legal entities, ships and aircraft from Russia. Including the number of Russian persons and objects under tough, so-called “blocking sanctions” by April 22 amounted to about 2,000, the center said in a statement.

As of February 21, all these figures were at least twice as low. And as of the end of April, the number of sanctioned persons in Russia is 1.7 times more than in Iran , which was recently the leader in terms of the number of sanctions imposed.

According to statistics, industrial, scientific, financial and transport organizations most often fell on the lists of sanctions. In particular, among the 357 operating Russian banks, 33 are directly on the list of sanctions, and another 9 are at risk of sanctions. In addition, 50 banks are associated with direct persons on the lists of different countries.

According to the “Rule of 50%”, applied by the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom, restrictions also apply to companies that are 50% or more owned by persons included in the lists. to previous sanctions lists.

As of February 21, 2,347 Russian companies were at risk of this rule being applied, while 2 months later, on April 22, under this 3,499 companies are already at risk, the report adds.

The statistics on sanctions collected by X-Compliance take into account 10 main lists of sanctions of foreign countries: the USA, the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Canada, Japan and Australia . The calculation did not take into account persons on different lists.

Recall that the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov noted that the Russians bypass sanctions because of “crypts” and other financial instruments. He stressed that digital sanctions are now needed from all platforms, exchanges and key projects.
