The Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense Issues Ramstein will meet in Brussels on the eve of the Munich Security Conference, which is scheduled for February 14-16.
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced this during a briefing, Interfax Ukraine writes.

The head of the German Defense Ministry said that the next meeting of the Contact Group will take place “as usual” in Brussels.

– A week before the Munich Security Conference, in Brussels, when, as usual, NATO defense ministers gather in Brussels. So this is quite normal, we do this often, – Pistorius explained.
The Minister also noted that the future of the Rammstein format will depend on the US administration that will be elected in the upcoming elections.
Germany continues to support Ukraine
Boris Pistorius emphasized that the German government has prepared an additional aid package for Ukraine in the amount of €3 billion. However, negotiations on financing are still ongoing.
– Some democratic parties in Germany have expressed their readiness to continue supporting Ukraine. Regardless of who leads the government after the elections, German support for Kyiv will remain unchanged and strong, he assured.
The head of the German Defense Ministry arrived in Kyiv on January 14 on an unannounced visit. This was not announced in advance for security reasons.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said earlier that the next meeting of the Ramstein contact group on Ukrainian defense issues would take place in February.
