Enemy missiles also hit Lviv. The head of the Lviv regional military administration, Maxim Kozitsky, said that the Russians fired 6 missiles in the region, 2 of which shot down air defenses. The attack was from the Caspian Sea by strategic bombers.
What is known about the strikes
According to Kozitsky, 3 enemy rockets hit 3 targets – electrical substations of the railway. As a result, the movement of trains was stopped at the entrance to Lviv. Part of the city was without electricity, water, internet and mobile communications. Also, there were 12 settlements without electricity.
In addition, one of the rockets flew over the Lviv region and hit the Transcarpathian region. There she also bombed an electrical substation on the railway of one of the villages.
Thus, by attacking the Lvov region, the Russian infidels treacherously intended to destroy the supplies of our forces. We are talking about the destruction of humanitarian aid delivery chains.
So far, about 2 thousand people are sitting without electricity. The relevant services are still working to eliminate the serious consequences of the enemy strike.
According to the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy, the shock wave was very powerful. Indeed, in a garage cooperative nearby, locks and doors flew out. In addition, all the stained-glass windows were knocked out in the church, and windows in the high-rise building were damaged.
Rocket attacks from other regions
- On the evening of May 3, Russian invaders launched 18 rockets into Ukraine. They vilely attacked Lvov, Odessa, Transcarpathia, Dnepropetrovsk and other areas. In the Transcarpathian region, in particular, because of this, more than fifty houses were left without gas.
- In the Dnipropetrovsk region, one person received a severe concussion due to a rocket arrival. As the chairman of the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Council Nikolay Lukashuk reported, fortunately, there were no deaths as a result of the enemy's rocket attack. During the night of May 4, no repeated enemy rocket attacks were recorded.
- That night, the Russian invaders mercilessly beat the Sumy region. There, rockets attacked the school. This happened around 03:00. The head of the Sumy regional military administration, Dmitry Zhivitsky, reported that between 06:00 and 07:00, the Russians carried out shelling along the border near Yunakovka.
