The Netherlands has decided to allocate more than €200 million to Ukraine for the rapid supply of additional air defense systems and artillery shells.
This was stated by the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands, Kaisa Ollongren, during a meeting of the Council Ukraine — NATO, which took place on April 19.

According to Ollongren, the situation in Ukraine can become completely critical, so it is necessary for international partners to do everything possible.

The Minister of Defense stated that more than €200 million allocated by the Netherlands is already in Europe and will arrive in Ukraine as soon as possible.
The Dutch government will contribute about €150 million to a German initiative to provide air defense systems to Ukraine to ensure rapid delivery of the funds.
At the same time, the Dutch Ministry of Defense is already purchasing short-range air defense for a total of €60 million in order to more effectively shoot down attack drones.
She added that the Netherlands will contribute to Estonia's initiative to quickly supply Ukraine with artillery ammunition from existing stocks.
