The Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council was warned about possible provocations by the occupiers. They recalled that the Russian military did not stop shelling even on Easter and carried out rocket attacks.
Because of possible provocations by the Russian army on memorial days, Ukrainians are advised to:
- refrain from mass gatherings in places of worship and cemeteries;
- in the event of an air raid alert, immediately go to a bomb shelter or shelter.
What is Radonitsa
For Ukrainians, Radonitsa is the second week after Easter, which is a memorial for deceased relatives.
This year, Radonitsa falls on May 3, but Ukrainians most often come to honor the memory of their relatives on weekends.
