The National Security and Defense Council has developed detailed instructions on how to respond to Russia's possible use of tactical nuclear weapons. However, even such a scenario will not stop Ukraine from defending its territories.
The developed plan will be made public in the coming days. This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov.
A nuclear strike will not stop Ukraine in the defense of its territories
Danilov stressed that the possible use Russian nuclear weapons will not stop Ukraine in the defense of its territories. The official noted that even if there is no response from the world community, NATO countries to a probable attack, this does not mean that we will not defend our land.
No one can stop us: neither Putin nor his troops. And this has already been repeatedly confirmed,” Danilov added.
Can Russia use nuclear weapons
- During his address on September 21, the paths again began to threaten with nuclear weapons. He stated that Russia is ready to use “all available means” to protect “its territories.” We are talking about the regions of Ukraine occupied by Russia. The dictator even threatened that “this is not a bluff.”
- President Volodymyr Zelensky said the threat of nuclear weapons from Kremlin head Vladimir Putin is nothing new. However, risks cannot be ruled out.
- The United States has a clear plan in case Russia uses nuclear weapons. The Kremlin has already issued a warning.
