On Wednesday, January 18, an Interior Ministry helicopter crashed in Brovary, Kyiv region. Unfortunately, as a result of the tragedy, many were killed and wounded.
The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who was on board the helicopter, flew to one of the front-line regions. This was announced at a briefing by the representative of the National Police Maryana Reva.
What was the purpose of the trip
The press secretary noted that the aircraft was going on a business trip on one from the frontline regions of Ukraine. Employees and leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs often went to the front line to see the situation with their own eyes and inspect the provision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs units located in hot spots.
Reva added that such trips took place systematically in order to make managerial decisions more effectively.
