The movement of trucks from Ukraine to Poland is completely blocked in five directions – State Border Guard Service

As of March 14, Polish farmers continue to block five directions on the border — Yagodin, Ustilug, Ugrinov, Rava-Russkaya and Shegini, while towards Poland since yesterday — completely.

Speaker of the State Border Service Andrey Demchenko stated this on the air of the United News telethon.

The situation on the Ukrainian-Polish border March 14

According to Demchenko, if farmers still allow a certain number of trucks to go towards Ukraine — somewhere more, somewhere less, less — along Yagodin and Shegini, since 40 vehicles passed through the latter towards Ukraine over the past 24 hours, then in all these five directions trucks towards Poland are not yet allowed through at all.

— If before this it was Shegini and Yagodin, then since yesterday the other three directions have gradually been added. Therefore, now the movement of trucks from Ukraine to Poland in these five directions is completely blocked, — he emphasized.

The speaker of the State Border Guard Service also recalled that on the night of March 8-9, Polish farmers stopped blocking the Krakovets checkpoint and announced the resumption of the blockade on the 13th, but this did not happen yesterday, however, as Demchenko noted, this doesn't mean they won't do it.

— Regarding queues — on five blocked directions in queues on the territory of Poland there are a total of about 1,050 trucks, most of all opposite the Rawa-Ruska and Yagodin checkpoints, and along Krakowets, where traffic is intense, a queue persists, because a large number of trucks are waiting for the opportunity to pass and choose all possible directions, — said the border guard.

He added that there are now about 500 trucks in the queue opposite Krakovets.
