The Ministry of Internal Affairs does not believe that the active phase of the war can continue until the end of 2023/Associated Press< p _ngcontent-sc128="" class="news-annotation">British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that the war in Ukraine could continue until the end of 2023. However, the Ministry of Defense has a different opinion on this matter.
The active phase of the war cannot last that long. Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Vadim Denisenko said this on the air of the national telethon, Channel 24 reports.

Now a big battle for Donbass is going on in Ukraine
Denisenko noted that the so-called big battle for Donbass is still going on in Ukraine. However, it, unfortunately, is not limited to Donbass, but is actually expanding to other territories.
Key events are taking place in the Donbass, but, unfortunately, the enemy continues to make certain attempts both in Krivoy Rog and in Zaporozhye. How long will this phase last? Obviously, we can still say that it will last at least a month. I would say so very carefully, – said the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
After that, the next phase of the war will begin. According to Denisenko, after the Russian infidels realize that they are not succeeding in the Donbass, there is a high probability that they will begin to dig in and try to hold those territories that are now temporarily occupied.
“And here the question is how quickly, how effectively we can recapture the already occupied territories,” the minister added.
Therefore, he can agree with those who say that it takes several months for this war to turn into another a calmer phase.
“I will say “more calm” very carefully, although the word “more calm”, of course, is not quite correct,” Denisenko noted.
The active phase of the war is unlikely to continue until the end of 2023
According to Johnson, there is a “realistic possibility” that Russian invaders will bomb Ukrainian cities before the end of 2023. After all, the president of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin, made a catastrophic mistake, and now he is in a difficult political position.
The head of the British government added that at the same time, Russia has a large army. Therefore, Putin's only option now is “to keep using his nasty, brutal, artillery-guided approach to try to crush the Ukrainians.” Despite this, Johnson is confident that the infidels will not succeed.
According to Denisenko, the active phase of the war can hardly last so long, because no one, neither Russia nor Ukraine.
“Therefore, I think it is obvious that Johnson had in mind this semi-frozen phase of the war, when some local battles are taking place,” said the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Denisenko summed up that being in the active phase of the war for so long with such forces, in terms of capabilities, people and the amount of equipment in service, is incredibly difficult physically.
