Russia is considering the possibility of introducing networks of the sixth generation 6G. About this TASS said the head of Ministry of industry and trade Denis Manturov.
According to him, although the plans for the development of 6G, and there are, they are still at an early stage. Manturov explained that at the moment we are talking about research.
The Minister noted that 5G network has complete understanding, and Russian companies will need from one year to three years for the creation of national solutions in this field. He added that at the moment in the Ministry of industry are awaiting the decision of the Ministry of communications to launch investment projects associated with this technology.
Samsung earlier, analysts predicted that a mass start when the sixth generation will take place in 2030. According to the forecast of the Korean company, the finalization of the standard 6G and the beginning of its commercialization can occur in 2028. The international telecommunication Union (ITU) defines technical communication standards of the sixth generation in 2021.
