The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine may soon allow students who are not subject to mobilization due to their age to travel abroad for one academic semester as part of academic mobility.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of Education Mikhail Vinnitsky on the air of the United News information telethon. According to him, a certain mechanism is now being considered to allow a maximum of one-semester mobility.
“We are planning to make it possible for students to study for one semester at one of the European universities during their undergraduate studies,” noted the Deputy Minister of Education.

Vinnitsky shared that now there are many opportunities from foreign partner universities that are interested in teaching Ukrainian students. According to him, the Ministry of Education and Science is developing a scheme to avoid abuse.
He noted that in the near future it will be possible to talk about some changes to the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers and orders of the Ministry of Education.
Recently, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky instructed, within the framework of academic mobility, to facilitate the travel abroad of students who are not subject to mobilization due to age. State representatives believe that this will provide opportunities for training and internships.
