The Ministry of Defense returned thousands of pieces of equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The process occurred as part of resource optimization.

It is noted that the Ministry of Defense is actively working to provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the necessary resources.

The Department of Alienation and Disposal of Surplus Military Property organized the return of 1,500 units of weapons and military equipment, as well as more than 2,000 items of military-technical property.
— Returning surplus equipment to service will allow you to optimize costs and quickly provide troops with the necessary resources, — noted Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yuriy Dzhigir.
The department said this includes:
- vehicles (MT-LB, tankers, trucks, tank repair shops, tank tractors, ARVs, etc.);
- repair equipment;
- communications and other necessary elements.
Recall that on May 23, the Verkhovna Rada created a Temporary Special Commission on the use of budget funds for the development of fortifications and engineering barriers on the contact line, as well as for the production and purchase of drones for the Defense Forces.
