The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense ordered 105 Vector reconnaissance drones from Germany. They can work without GNSS satellite navigation.
According to the APU, encrypted IP communication sends video streams over a distance of more than 15 kilometers. Moreover, the developer company Quantum-Systems has improved the technique since the last delivery and announced the opening of an operator training and support center in Ukraine.

They emphasized that direct communication with UAV operators on the battlefield made it possible to speed up the process of developing and updating the system, the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
They also noted that the flight time of the drone is 120 minutes. Moreover, with the help of an additional long-range ground station, the range of the system can be increased up to 25 kilometers.

The ability to operate in the most difficult terrain (VTOL) combined with extremely low noise levels (engine off, silent mode) makes the Vector an ideal UAV for a wide range of aerial non-invasive (reconnaissance) operations, the developers said.
