The speaker of the Ministry of Defense Alexander Motuzyanyk said that the ministry does not see that in the near future the Russians will again attack the Zhytomyr, Kiev, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
But he stressed that this only in the short term. This possibility cannot be completely ruled out.
The enemy may launch a new offensive from Belarus. But Motuzyanyk added that this would depend on how successful the Russians were in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Now some battalion tactical groups of Russia remain on the territory of Belarus, they perform certain demonstrative actions, thereby keeping our units. – added the speaker of the Ministry of Defense.

The Ministry of Defense understands that the Russians can again go to the capital. But for this they need a large number of troops, since Kyiv is constantly building up its defenses.
