On September 2, Ministers of Health of Poland and Ukraine, Adam Nedzelsky and Viktor Lyashko, arrived in Lviv on a working visit. Together with Mayor Andriy Sadov, they visited the wounded Ukrainian defenders.
Also, Lyashko and Nedzelsky met with the head of the Lviv regional military administration, Maxim Kozitsky. The head of the OVA himself spoke about this in a telegram.
The Ministers of Health of Poland and Ukraine arrived in Lviv
Sadovyi said that on September 2, together with the ministers health care of Poland and Ukraine, as well as Minister for Veterans Affairs Yulia Laputina visited the wounded soldiers.
High-quality prosthetics, full-fledged rehabilitation and a comfortable stay in a medical facility during recovery are the focus of each minister. This is a very important priority. Thanks to our Polish colleagues for their support! – stressed the mayor.
Kozytsky said that Lyashko also visited the Lviv National Medical University named after Daniil Halytsky and talked with students. The Minister noted that the President and the Government are making every effort to ensure that the Program of Medical Guarantees and Financing of Healthcare Institutions functions at the proper level.
“Together, the ministers visited one of the medical facilities in the Lviv region, where our military is being treated and rehabilitated. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, about 1,700 people have been treated here“, Kozitsky added.
Nedzelsky and Lyashko talked with patients, thanked for courage and protection and wished a speedy recovery. In turn, Laputina awarded the medical staff of the institution with thanks from the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
“The honorable guests examined the renovated rehabilitation department and the department of rehabilitation treatment for the defenders and defenders of Ukraine,” the head of the OVA noted.
According to him, at the end of August, as part of the project of the Lviv OVA and the International Headquarters for Assistance to Ukrainians, they opened after repair 5 rooms, sanitary rooms, corridors and reception. Soon, on the basis of this hospital a specialized clinic for prosthetics and rehabilitation of people affected by the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine – Superhuman Center will open.
