On May 3, the Russian Occupants launched a massive missile attack on the territory of Ukraine. But not all missiles hit their targets. Some of them were shot down by air defense systems.
According to preliminary data, on May 3, 18 missiles were fired at the territory of Ukraine. Some of them fired them from strategic bombers.
Some of the missiles were shot down by our air defense defenders.
One of the cruise missiles was shot down by air defense units in the skies of the Ukrainian Donbass. On May 3, they also shot down three unmanned aerial vehicles of the Orlan-10 type, leaving the enemy without intelligence.
“Russian missile weapons were sent to kill many Ukrainian civilians, but were shot down by paratroopers. It should be noted that this is already the sixth cruise missile destroyed by air defense units of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the paratroopers said in a statement.
Missile attack on the territory of Ukraine on May 3: the main thing
The Russian occupation forces launched at least 18 missiles from Tu-95 or Tu-160 strategic bombers into Ukraine. Probably, the launches were made from the Caspian region.
The enemy was able to hit the infrastructure facilities of 6 regions: Dnepropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Lvov, Vinnitsa, Kyiv and Zakarpattia. As a result of the missile strike, he was killed and wounded.
During the war, this was the first missile strike on the territory of the Transcarpathian region. The missile hit one of the substations near the railway station in Volovets.
In the Odessa and Donetsk regions, the invaders launched missile strikes from other means.
At least eight cruise missiles were shot down by air defense systems Ukraine.
The main targets of the infidels were railway infrastructure facilities. Therefore, there were delays in the departure and arrival of trains in different parts of Ukraine. If in Lviv the infidels damaged electrical substations, which left part of the city without electricity and water, then in the Dnepropetrovsk region they got into the railway track. Train traffic had to be temporarily suspended there.
