The military explained why Ukraine needs long-range missiles specifically for defense

Ukraine expects partner countries to supply long-range ATACMS missiles. The Armed Forces of Ukraine need such weapons not for attacks on the territory of Russia, but for protection from the enemy.

The ex-commander of the Israeli special forces, a volunteer of the Ukrainian army, Denis Desyatnik, spoke about this on Channel 24 . According to him, Russia should know that if it continues to attack Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine can hit Moscow.

Missiles are needed to protect against the enemy

Denis Desyatnik noted that Ukraine desperately needs long-range missiles for protection. Russia should know that if attacks on our country continue, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to strike back.

We now need longer-range missiles for protection. So that the enemy knows that if they continue any actions, then we can hit both Moscow and any point in Russia,” the military emphasized.

The volunteer of the Ukrainian army also added: if Ukraine has these long-range missiles, then the Russians will know about it and be afraid of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
