During the air raid, around 16:00, residents of Kremenchug reported strong explosions. The head of the Poltava OVA immediately confirmed that the Russian invaders launched a missile attack on the city. Soon there was information that an enemy missile hit the local shopping center.
According to preliminary data, at the time of “arrival” there were about 1 thousand peaceful people. As a result of the hit, about 10 thousand square meters of the area caught fire – 115 firefighters and 20 pieces of equipment were involved in the extinguishing. In addition, a fire train from Ukrzaliznytsia and the MTF State Emergency Service were sent there.
According to the latest data, at least 11 dead and 40 injured are known, 25 of them were immediately hospitalized. The regional military-civilian administration said that the number of victims, unfortunately, is not final, and the figure will grow.
Soon it became known that the invaders hit the mall with missiles X-22, which were fired from the territory of the Kursk region from Tu-22 M3 bombers. Enemy planes took off from the Shaikovka airfield.
