On the eve of a difficult winter, we can observe a certain pause in massive rocket attacks. This means that the enemy is amassing a missile arsenal.
Representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrey Yusov spoke about this in an interview with Espreso.
According to him, it is no secret that the occupiers are stockpiling missiles to attack our energy infrastructure during the cold period.

However, Ukraine is also preparing, both independently and with the help of foreign partners. Therefore, the issue of protecting our energy system is constantly discussed.
“It is quite logical to expect and prepare for the continuation of such attacks this winter. This means that we are also preparing, receiving new means and capabilities to counteract. In particular, as the military-political leadership announced, if such strikes are carried out, there will definitely be retaliation,” Andrei Yusov noted.
When asked whether Ukraine would be able to carry out symmetrical attacks on similar energy facilities on Russian territory, the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate noted that, unfortunately, not.
Although, according to him, the Russians should feel on their territory the war that they started against Ukraine.
— Unfortunately, we cannot talk now about symmetrical answers for various reasons. After all, our means are different. Strategic aviation is the prerogative of the enemy. But now there are other methods and tools, and one way or another, “cotton” is blooming in Russia and this will continue,” said a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
