Evacuation of Ukrainians from Lebanon/Collage 24 Channel

On Wednesday, September 4, the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Zelensky's orders, evacuated Ukrainians from Lebanon. The security situation there has recently worsened.

As noted by the Main Intelligence Directorate, we are talking about the return of 25 Ukrainian citizens.

Evacuation from Lebanon

Among those evacuated from the Middle Eastern state are 11 children and 14 women. They have already arrived in Poland, from where they are heading to Ukraine, the GUR writes.

The GUR of the Ministry of Defense noted that together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs they continue to work to provide assistance to Ukrainian citizens who are in Lebanon.

Earlier, namely on August 3, intelligence officers and diplomats evacuated 30 Ukrainian citizens from Lebanon: 21 women and nine children.

“Ukraine always makes every possible effort to help its citizens in trouble, wherever they are – this is a priority,” the intelligence service writes.
