Active hostilities in the Donetsk region continue, and the situation in this direction of the front remains difficult. So, now the occupiers have concentrated their main efforts on taking Liman under full control.
The main efforts of the enemy in the Donetsk direction
Also in the Donetsk direction, the enemy is trying to improve his tactical position near Severodonetsk and Avdiivka. This is stated in the operational summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of the morning of May 26.
The Russians again used artillery and attack aircraft to strike at the positions of Ukrainian units and the civilian infrastructure of Donbass.
Fighting continues in the Bakhmut and Avdeevsky directions, and the infidels are actively using electronic warfare. They attempted an offensive in the areas of Kamyshevakhi, Lime and Nagorny, however, this did not work. In addition, the infidels are trying to consolidate their positions near Severodonetsk. They conducted assault operations in the direction of Ustinovka, however, this did not bring them success.
Trying to improve the tactical situation in the Izyum region and resume the offensive on Slavyansk, the invaders fired at the Chepil, Dovgenkiy, Kurulka, Bogorodichny and Studenko regions from artillery , multiple launch rocket systems, mortars and tanks.
APU repel enemy attacks
Over the past day, on May 25, the Ukrainian military repulsed 10 enemy attacks in the Donetsk and Luhansk directions. Yes, they destroyed:
- 4 tanks,
- 2 artillery systems,
- armored personnel carrier,
- vehicle,
- 1 special vehicle.

In addition, air defense units eliminated 5 drones of the Orlan-10 type, and strike aircraft, striking enemy positions, destroyed personnel and up to 10 units of lightly armored vehicles. Ukrainian fighters intercepted and shot down two cruise missiles.
