Ukraine, first of all, feels an urgent need for aircraft and missiles. The decision to provide such weapons from the West must be made, but avoiding a preliminary loud discussion.
About thisChannel 24said the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin. According to him, we can talk about three priorities at once in the context of the Ramstein meeting.
What Ukraine expects from the meeting
Pavel Klimkin explained that it would be very important for the next Ramstein to be missile-based.
According to him, of course, aviation has the highest priority today, however to fight the enemy, it is worth taking care of missile weapons with a range of more than 100 kilometers.
“These can be like bombs equipped with engines – we have been talking about providing them for several months,” he stressed.
According to Klimkin, they also talk about missiles with a range of up to 300 kilometers.
So that any Russian offensive or, conversely, support of Russian forces during our offensive is not that impossible, that any logistics are constantly under our gun, he explained.
In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs echelon commented that the missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could be used literally immediately, it is somewhat more difficult with aviation: it takes time for training and technical support.
Klimkin said that the third priority is to expand the circle ” Ramstein”.
“We have one or two joining countries at each meeting,” he focused.
In particular, we are talking about about the countries of Africa, Latin America.
