The Kremlin responded to Johnson's story about Putin's threats

by alex

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he spoke to Putin shortly before Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The dictator threatened him with a missile attack.

The Kremlin called Johnson's words a “lie”. Channel 24 reports this with reference to Russian Mass Media.

The Kremlin cynically denies Johnson’s words

What Johnson said is not true. Rather, it is a lie,” Russian dictator Peskov said.

Moreover, he absurdly added that one should ask what was the purpose of “lying” Johnson. Like, if this is “an unconscious lie, and in fact he (Johnson – Channel 24) did not understand what the conversation was about, then it becomes embarrassing for the president's interlocutors,” Peskov added cynically.

He also said that he the bunker dictator noted during the conversation that “Ukraine's entry into NATO and the deployment of missiles near the borders of Russia will mean that they will reach Moscow in a matter of minutes.”
