"Russians see nothing new" in Trump's statements about sanctions.
The Kremlin dictator's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that “the Russian Federation will never forget the US's assistance during World War II.” The Kremlin also hopes that ” Trump and the Americans will share the joy of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the victory.”
This was reported by the Russian publication TASS.
Peskov also disagreed with Trump's words about the “auxiliary” role of the USSR in World War II.
“The USSR paid the highest price for the victory over fascism, the United States helped, but it was business,” Peskov said.
He added that the Kremlin sees nothing new in Trump's threats to impose sanctions if there is no agreement on Ukraine achieved.
Recall that Kremlin mouthpiece Dmitry Peskov stated that “military circumstances for Kiev are worsening.”
