The Kremlin is very worried: what can be expected from Kadyrov after the shooting down of the Embraer plane Angela Figin

The position of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov may be seriously shaken by the incident with the Azerbaijani plane. After all, it was obviously the Chechen air defense forces that shot down the airliner, which was flying from Baku to Grozny.

This opinion was expressed by political scientist and international expert Maxim Nesvitaylov to Channel 24, noting that it was in Chechnya that the skies were not closed. As a result of the plane crash, 38 people died.

“Kadyrov may resort to ill-considered steps”

The tension that could arise between Russia and Azerbaijan as a result of the plane crash, or the preferences that Vladimir Putin must now provide to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, could backfire on Kadyrov. Although this is not the only reason.

As the political scientist noted, there is still a huge fight going on in Russia for the Wildberries online store. Both Putin's and Kadyrov's people are involved, but they are on different sides.

“Therefore, it is entirely possible that there is now a certain tension and Kadyrov's position is uncertain. This could push him to some ill-considered and radical steps. I think he is not just saving his guard. Perhaps, in case it will be necessary to confront the opposition inside the country,” Nesvitaylov said.

Pay attention!Aviation expert Konstantin Krivolap suggested that the plane crash could have been caused by a conflict between Ramzan Kadyrov and Russian oligarch Suleiman Kerimov, to whom the head of Chechnya declared a “blood feud” and whom Vladimir Putin refused to support.

Moscow fears worsening relations with Baku

Azerbaijan refused the assistance offered by Chechnya and is now demanding an admission of guilt, an apology and compensation. The international expert said how the downing of the passenger plane could affect relations between Baku and Moscow.

I would not say that Azerbaijan is directly an ally of Russia. Baku situationally uses Moscow for its own benefit. In addition, they have mutually beneficial business interests, but Azerbaijan is first and foremost a strategic ally of Turkey, the political scientist emphasized.

According to him, Recep Erdogan has great authority in Azerbaijan and the fact that Aliyev is pursuing some kind of policy with Russia is a more coordinated story with Turkey.

However, Russia often disguises its oil as Azerbaijani. If Azerbaijan wants to close this shop for Russia, it will be a huge blow to the Russian economy, Nesvitaylov added.

In his opinion, the Kremlin is very worried and will pressure Kadyrov to do everything that Azerbaijan says. It is not a fact that he will want to make any concessions and an interesting picture may unfold here. Because for now Azerbaijan is expressing its position with restraint.

By the way, the head of the Vezha Public Analysis Center, Valery Klochok, believes that the Russians may admit their guilt if it is beneficial for them.
