Russia could buy drones from Iran

It is worth recalling that Russia has already made an offer to buy drones to Iran. Then both the Kremlin and Iran denied the information about their purchase.

However, this could happen. After all, political strategist Mikhail Sheitelman explained that in Iran there is some kind of dual power and, in fact, two armies. One is the Iranian army, the second is the corps of sentries of the Islamic revolution.

Although it is formally considered a division of the army, it is not subordinate to the military command, but to the spiritual leadership. And it may be that Russia could buy drones specifically from the guards of the Islamic revolution.

And American intelligence and media list three types of Iranian drones that Russia allegedly acquired:

  • two species were developed by order of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps;
  • the third is in service with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
