In recent weeks, there has been increasing talk that Russia is preparing for a second offensive on the eve of the anniversary of the start of a large-scale war. At the same time, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg assured that the Kremlin does not want peace and made a statement about weapons for Ukraine.
In many Western publications, in particular in Foreign Policy, they write that the occupiers may launch a new offensive in the coming days. Against the backdrop of this news, on February 8, at joint press conferences with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Stoltenberg stated that the world will continue to help Ukraine with weapons.
Putin does not need peace
According to Stoltenberg, it is obvious that Moscow is preparing for a new offensive. That is why Ukraine desperately needs weapons.
We must continue to supply Ukraine with the weapons it needs to regain its territory and function as a sovereign, independent state,” he said. Lloyd Austin, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and United States Presidential Adviser Jake Sullivan.

In addition, we note that in the caption to the photo, Stoltenberg thanked the United States for its leadership in uniting the world at such a critical moment.
“It is not correct to talk about a new offensive”
- The words of Andrey Yusov, representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, should be mentioned on this topic. He noted that calling the activation of infidels in the East of our state a “new offensive” is very incorrect, because since the beginning of a full-scale invasion – on February 24 – the invaders have been trying to attack and are using all available opportunities for this.
- He also commented on the situation military analyst and reserve major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Aleksey Getman. He stressed that Ukraine is preparing for a counteroffensive and will be able to resist the invaders, even if they are ready for anything for their goals.
- Actually, our army needs long-range missiles, aircraft and tanks most of all. By the way, President Zelensky made his visit to London just to ensure that these weapons reach Ukraine as soon as possible.
