The Kremlin is concerned about the “position of strength” demonstrated by the newly elected US President Donald Trump. He is capable of putting Russia in its place.

Russian publicist Rostislav Murzagulov expressed this opinion to Channel 24, noting that Trump has long since begun speaking to Putin from a “position of strength.” Just look at his threats to strike Moscow, which were made several years ago.

Russia is already worried

As Murzagulov noted, the Kremlin realizes that Trump may start acting harshly against them. They are trying to fight back. Russian propaganda immediately began spreading dirt against his wife Melania Trump.

At the same time, the occupiers again launched strategic bombers. But this time, too, it was only a sham launch. Putin wants to demonstrate that he still has many aces up his sleeve. But Trump is not a timid politician.

Trump sees that they want to intimidate him. And he likes to do it himself. He is such a hooligan. He will finally have emotions towards Putin, which were lacking. Because he was too pragmatic about the dictator. At the same time, Putin is now trying to scare Trump and Ukraine with what he is already doing. He has already played all the cards except nuclear weapons. Trump can calmly tell him about this, – Murzagulov noted.

Let's add that, according to media reports, Trump does not yet have a ready “peace plan” regarding the war in Ukraine. Advisors offer several ideas. Among them is a freeze on hostilities on the current line of contact.
