Two lieutenant generals were eliminated
According to Ukrainian intelligence, the following have been suspended in Russia:
- Commander of the 6th Army, Lieutenant General Vladislav Yershov;
- Commander of the 1st Tank Army of the Western Military District, Lieutenant General Sergei Kisel ;
- one of the deputy commanders.
They were eliminated due to poor preparation for combat operations and heavy losses of personnel and equipment.
Also dismissed from the post of commander of the 22nd Army Corps of the Southern Military District, Major General Arkady Marzoev. He was purged due to the unsatisfactory performance of the assigned tasks.
Ukrainian intelligence officers stressed that the Kremlin's repressions affected the rear and support units.
In connection with unsatisfactory organization of material and technical support of the grouping of troops of the eastern military district, Colonel M. Ponomarev, commander of the 103rd separate logistics brigade, was removed from the post, the scouts said.
