Destruction of a school by Russian troops/Pavel Kirilenko/Donetsk Regional State Administration (OVA)
In the Donetsk region, the Russians destroyed another educational institution. Japan helped build this music school in Svyatogorsk.
The head of the Donetsk OVA, Pavel Kirilenko, said that the school came under fire on the morning of May 21 and was completely destroyed.
It is known that that the Japanese government helped refurbish the school in 2016. It was part of the project “Promoting the Stabilization of Communities in Donbas”, but the Russians turned everything into ruins.
“I am grateful to the people of Japan and all our allies who have helped to restore the Donetsk region for years. We will rebuild it now too,” added Pavel Kirilenko, head of the Donetsk Police Department.
