The Russian Ministry of Defense wants to distribute land plots in the temporarily occupied Crimea and in the Moscow region to awarded participants in the war against Ukraine. The corresponding draft decree was published on the legal information portal of Russia.
According to the document, the ministry recommends that the executive authorities in the Moscow region and in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol and Crimea “adopt legislative acts establishing the right of citizens to receive land plots free of charge.”
According to the plan of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the right to land plots should be granted to holders of state awards and insignia, orders for merit during the war and combat veterans, the report says.
