This was reported by the National Police. From 7:00 on March 25 to 7:00 on March 26, 7 air alerts were announced on the territory of the Zhytomyr region.
“During some of them there were air attacks on Zhytomyr, Berdichev and Chudnovshchina. Investigative and operational police teams worked at the scene , whose workers recorded destruction and damage,” law enforcement officers wrote.
Consequences of airstrikes
Occupants launched a missile airstrike near the Kiev highway in Zhytomyr. This caused a fire. It was promptly liquidated by firefighters.
In addition, a village in the Chudnovskaya territorial community suffered from rocket attacks. Rashists damaged a number of buildings and private houses.
In Berdichev, local residents found fragments of a rocket and a crater from its fall. A similar find was seen near the village of Vyshevichi in the Radomyshl region.
In general, the regional police received more than 750 messages over the past day. Approximately 90 citizens were checked, the National Police noted.
Law enforcement officers said that during the period of a large-scale war with Russia, investigators from the Zhytomyr region launched 195 criminal proceedings that relate to the war crimes of the aggressor.
