Ukrainian defenders and defenders continue to heroically resist the Russian enemy on their land. The 95th day of a full-scale war in Ukraine has already begun.
In some areas of hostilities, the Russian enemy has suffered some success, in others – considerable losses. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine traditionally spoke about the operational situation in the main areas.
What is the situation in the main areas of hostilities
In Volynsky and Polesyedirections, the number of measures of operational and combat training during the inspection of the response forces of the armed forces of Belarus is increasing. The threat of missile strikes on Ukrainian territory from the territory of this country also remains.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy continues to cover sections of the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Bryansk and Kursk regions. The enemy fired mortars at the positions of the defense forces in the Sumy region.
On Slobozhanskydirection, the occupiers exert systematic fire influence to prevent further advancement of our units in the direction of the state border of Ukraine. It also takes measures to replenish the losses of weapons and military equipment.
In Kharkivdirection, the enemy concentrated his main efforts on the maintenance of the occupied lines and the containment of units of the Defense Forces. The enemy also continued the measures of remote mining of the area in the possible areas of action of the Defense Forces. Unfortunately, the day did not pass without shelling, in particular, strikes were carried out in the areas of the settlements of Cherkasy Tishki, Russian Tishki, Petrovka and Ternova.
In the Slavyansk direction, the Russian military throughout days of active hostilities were not carried out. Instead, enhanced reconnaissance was introduced, and the main efforts were focused on holding positions and creating conditions for the resumption of the offensive.
The General Staff notes that the Russians carried out artillery shelling of civilian infrastructure in the areas of the settlements of Gusarovka, Bolshaya Kamyshevakha, Bogorodichnoye, Svyatogorsk, in the area of Dovgensky and others.
As for the Donetsk direction, then the situation remains difficult – the enemy is constantly advancing. Actively uses different types of weapons, as well as means of electronic warfare. In addition, in this direction, the Russian military increased the intensity of operations of operational-tactical and army aviation.
On Limanskystrengthens the grouping in the direction by using ground attack aircraft near Dibrova. He is trying to gain a foothold in the area of the Liman settlement.
In the Severodonetsk direction, the situation is tense, because the infidels are constantly making attacks. So, on May 28, with the support of artillery, they launched assault operations in the city area. The fights continue. At the same time, in the area of the settlement of Bobrovo, the enemy suffered losses and retreated to their previous positions. However, the forces of ground attack aircraft inflicted air strikes in the Ustinovka area.
On In the Bakhmut direction, the infidels are trying to improve their tactical position. With the support of mortar and artillery fire, the enemy carried out offensive and assault operations in the areas of some settlements, however, having suffered losses, he retreated.
Notedthat over the previous day in the Donetsk and Lugansk directions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 7 enemy attacks, destroyed one tank and six enemy vehicles. The air defense units also destroyed an Orlan-10 UAV. These are not the only losses of the enemy.
The Russians did not conduct active hostilities in the Kurakhovsky , Novopavlovsky and Zaporozhye directions. But they continued to shell civilian infrastructure along the line of collision.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine went on the offensive in the South of the country. Russian troops suffered losses and were forced to retreat and are now defending themselves in disadvantageous positions, in particular, in the area of the settlement of Kostromka. At the same time, enemy forces want to regain lost ground. Thus, the infidels are trying to do this by tipping over reserves to threatening directions.
At the same time, the Bessarabian direction remains unchanged.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy is trying to make up for the losses. To this end, the Russian army is reinforcing the group with obsolete weapons and military equipment removed from storage. In particular, we are talking about the T-62 and BMP-1 tanks.
