The General Staff spoke about the situation in hot spots/Collage of 24 channels
The enemy continues to brutally shell Ukrainian cities and positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, the Russians are trying to carry out assault actions in order to resume the offensive against Slavyansk, but all their attempts remain unsuccessful.
This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on June 28. What is the situation in the hottest spots where the battles are fought? /strong>groupings of enemy troops concentrate their efforts on preventing the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the state border of Ukraine. The invaders carry out assault actions in order to improve the tactical position of their soldiers and tie down the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled the enemy assault actions in the direction of Dovgalovka – Zaliman. Having suffered a defeat, the invaders retreated.
On the Slavic direction the enemy is conducting assault operations in the direction of Dovgenkoye – Dolina.Thus, the Russian Armed Forces are striving to create conditions for an attack on Slavyansk. However, there is no success in this.
Our defenders resolutely stopped an attempt of an enemy offensive in the direction of Dovgenkoye – Dolina and threw the enemy back, – the General Staff notes.
In general, the main efforts of the enemy are focused on continuing the offensive in the direction Izyum – Slavyansk.According to the General Staff, for this, the invaders fire at the positions of our troops from artillery and multiple launch rocket systems. In addition, attempts were made to carry out aerial reconnaissance by unmanned aerial vehicles in the area of the Grushuvakh settlement.
In the Lisichansk direction, Russian invaders use mortars and cannon artillery to inflict damage on the Ukrainian army. At the same time, the enemy is conducting assault operations in the direction of Volcheyarovka – the southern outskirts of the Lisichansk Oil Refinery.The General Staff notes that the situation remains tense, and hostilities continue.
Another goal of the invaders in this direction is the Bakhmut-Lysichansk highway, which they are trying to take under their control. Here, in order to expose the firing positions of our units, the enemy carried out reconnaissance in force in the direction of Nikolaevka – Disputed, in the future – led the offensive in the indicated direction. Ukrainian soldiers successfully suppressed all attempts and forced the enemy to withdraw.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy is conducting assault operations in the direction of Mironovka – Uglegorsk TPP. It is reported that currently the fighting continues.
On separate lines of collision, our soldiers continue to repel the assault. So, the enemy withdrew with losses in the direction Egorovka – Pavlovka.
The Russian armed forces concentrated on holding the previously occupied lines in the South Nobuzh direction. The General Staff notes that that in this way, the enemy is trying to prevent counter-offensive operations in the Kherson and Nikolaev regions. To this end, the invaders fired on units of our troops from cannon artillery and multiple launch rocket systems.
The General Staff adds that during June 25 the enemy did not conduct active operations on:
- Avdeevsky,
- Kurakhovsky,
- Novopavlovsky,
- Zaporizhsky,
- Kramatorsk directions.
However, he continued to shell Ukrainian civilian cities.
