The Russians broke the hands of the fishermen/ATN
Russian occupiers in every possible way mock the local population of the territories that they temporarily occupied. In particular, in Genichesk, the invaders broke the arms of men who just wanted to go fishing.

Note that the Russians captured Genichesk on the first day of a full-scale invasion, so the occupiers have been terrorizing the inhabitants for almost 5 months. >In Genichesk, temporarily occupied by the Russians, fishing was banned. The city is located on the shores of the Sea of Azov, so for some locals this activity is not only a hobby, but also the work of a lifetime.
It is known that people living under occupation often lack basic food. It was fishing that could help civilians eat normally and earn at least something.
However, the invaders decided to disperse the fish market as well. One of the men, together with his friend, decided to go to sea, despite the prohibition of the Russians. However, the invaders caught them on the shore.
According to local residents, the Russians asked the men if they were warned that they would wring their hands for fishing. Then they did exactly that to them.
A brief about life in the temporarily occupied territories
- The mayor of Skadovsk Alexander Yakovlev said that the local population does not support any actions of the Russian occupation authorities, and also does not attend “holidays” organized by the invaders. The whole city has only a few collaborators, and the rest of the Ukrainians are looking forward to the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- At the same time, in the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass, locals are terrorized not only by Russians, but also by Syrians. Many mercenaries noticed in Snizhne, which they captured back in 2014.
