The journalist added that due to the fact that the city is sufficiently “cut off” from others, there are accumulated residential buildings, so the occupiers are targeting on it.

Demchenko suggested why< strong>the occupiers want to seize Vuhledar from a tactical point of view.
The occupiers are trying to “cut off” part of the Ukrainian group that holds the line of demarcation from Maryinka by such attempts , which existed before February 24. This is the only sector of the front in the Donbass that has been held for 11 months, it has hardly moved,” the journalist noted.
He summed up that by capturing Vuhledar, the Russians want to cut off part of the AFU grouping near Donetsk.

At the same time, in Bakhmut, according to Demchenko, the tactics of the Russian troops is to “cut off” the communication routes of the city with other settlements of Donbass, as well as important routes.
