The situation for Russian invaders is getting worse in some parts of the front. In particular, the occupiers found themselves in a difficult situation in the Zaporozhye direction.
A military expert, instructor pilot and reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan spoke about this on Channel 24. According to him, it is becoming more and more difficult for the Russians to hold their positions on this bridgehead.As Svitan said, one of the reasons for this situation is the large area of this section.
- The length of the front from Zaporozhye to Donetsk is about 300 kilometers.
- The depth of the front is about 100 kilometers.
According to a military expert, in order to hold such a front, the invaders need about 300 thousand people.
The best option for the Russians is to increase the number of their military in this area. It is likely that Russia will transfer more and more recently mobilized there, Svitan said.

The Russian invaders now find themselves in an almost hopeless situation on the Zaporozhye front.
“The invaders are pressed to the Sea of Azov by our 300-kilometer front. They have the only opportunity – by some focal defensive actions, that is, by garrisons, to keep this depth of the front, no more,” Svitan said.
He added that the Russian army is actively preparing for defense at the Zaporozhye bridgehead. According to Svitan, the defensive measures that the Russians are now carrying out in this area are very reminiscent of the situation on the right bank of the Kherson region.

Such defensive barriers allow you to cover the retreating troops. It seems that the Russians are preparing to leave the Zaporizhzhya Front, building a certain system to cover the withdrawal of their troops with rearguard units.
The military expert added that, probably, the occupiers really do not exclude the possibility of a retreat from the Zaporozhye region.

At the same time, in the area of large cities – Melitopol, Berdyansk and Mariupol – allegedly, preparations are underway for the defense of the garrison plan.
“And any garrison can be easily surrounded – and in 1 – 2 weeks it will run out of army supplies. That is, several thousand people will be left with iron, but without ammunition“, – said the military expert.
The Colonel of the Reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that if the Russians find themselves in such a position, then the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be much easier to take them.
