The IMF team, led by Deputy Director of the European Department of the Fund Uma Ramakrishnan, begins meetings in Kyiv on February 12 with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities and other partners.
This was announced by the permanent representative of the International Monetary Fund in Ukraine Vahram Stepanyan.

— Discussions will focus on the economic policy goals of the Ukrainian authorities and the challenges facing the country's economy, — he clarified.

In addition, according to him, representatives of the Fund will take part in the inaugural meeting of the steering committee of the Capacity Development Fund of Ukraine, administered by the IMF, on February 13.
— At this meeting of Ukrainian authorities, development partners and IMF specialists, priorities for strengthening the country's capabilities and the International Monetary Fund's support for this important task will be discussed, — noted Stepanyan.
And on February 17, the IMF mission led by Gavin Gray will begin discussions with representatives of Ukraine in Warsaw in the context of the third review of the extended financing program supported by the Fund.
IMF program for Ukraine
At the end of March 2023, the IMF approved a four-year extended financing program for Ukraine in the amount of $15.6 billion, which is part of an overall package of support from international partners worth $115 billion.
Under the program, Ukraine has already received two tranches totaling about $3.6 billion. Another one is possible this year.
