The IDF is ready to help with the evacuation of newborn children from Al-Shifa Hospital. Israel Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari announced this on Sunday, November 12, at a briefing.

The Rear Admiral noted that this medical facility is not under siege. The east side of the hospital is open, he said.

Hagari said the hospital staff asked the Israeli military to help move the babies from the pediatric ward to a safer facility. The IDF agreed.
