The IAEA mission set off on the morning of August 31 to the Zaporozhye NPP. It is already known that representatives are planning to spend several days at the station. And this is pretty depressing for the occupiers.

The head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, stressed that the mission plans to stay on the territory of the ZNPP “for several days.” He noted this in a comment to journalists before the convoy traveled from Kyiv to the station. stay at the ZNPP for several days. They do this in order not only to be able to communicate with the Ukrainian staff of the station. They will also need to make a report on the trip itself. So all this will obviously take more than one day .

Recall that Grossi previously announced a desire to create a permanent mission at the station. She will deal with control of the situation so that it does not get out of control due to the actions of the invaders who seized the ZNPP.

Ukraine gave the task to the IAEA mission

The Ukrainian side sent representatives of the IAEA mission not with empty hands. They were provided with a list of those indicators that must first be checked during the inspection of the Zaporozhye NPP.

The successful implementation of all tasks by the mission will be of great importance for the nuclear safety not only of Ukraine, but of the whole world. Minister of Energy German Galushchenko emphasized.

The occupiers are already on fire

Gauleiter of the Zaporozhye region Yevgeny Balitsky not happy with Grossi's statements. He was firmly convinced that The IAEA mission at the Zaporozhye NPP will last a maximum of one day. In his opinion, this should be purely a demonstration trip.

The visit program is designed for one day. They must review the work of the station in one day, – stressed the frightened Balitsky.

He noted that the IAEA aims only to “get acquainted with the work of the station.” But this, according to the collaborator, is a rather vague concept. Which makes him pretty worried.

At the same time, the local occupiers are already ready to meet representatives of the mission in Energodar. This was emphasized by the Gauleiter of the city Alexander Volga. The commission, which left Kyiv on the morning of August 31, is expected on the spot on September 1.
