This is stated in a statement by Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

IAEA experts also visited the main control panels of power units No. 2, 5 and 6. According to their observations, power units No. 2 and 5 remain in a “cold” stops, and power unit No. 6 — in a state of “hot” stops. In addition, the team visited the emergency diesel generators of power units No. 4 and No. 5 and walked around the perimeter of the Zaporizhia NPP.

On August 22, IAEA experts reported that they had recorded explosions and shooting near the power plant.

On September 6, the speaker of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Andrei Yusov reported that the threat of a terrorist attack by Russians at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant had decreased.

However, already on September 9, IAEA experts heard many explosions on the territory of the Zaporizhia NPP and expressed concern about this fact.
