As reported in the operational command “South”, the Ukrainian military prepared for a hostile cluster in the South. They launched a missile strike near Novaya Kakhovka. During the day on June 16, Ukrainian aviation hit enemy concentrations in the Kherson, Kakhovka and Berislav districts of the Kherson region three times with helicopters and planes.
During the day on June 16, the Ukrainian military destroyed:
- 72 Russian infidels;
- 1 self-propelled howitzer “Msta-S” and 2 howitzers “Msta-B”;
- 1 mortar complex “Sani”;
- 5 units armored vehicles;
- 2 ammunition depots and 1 fuel depot.
And on the morning of June 17, the Russians from the “Hurricane” fired at the suburbs of Nikolaev. There is no destruction or loss among the local population. The enemy also used the BM-21 Grad MLRS. The occupiers attacked the settlements:

How According to the Institute for the Study of War, Russian infidels are firing artillery to the west and north-west of Izyum. And this may mean that Ukrainian troops are conducting a counteroffensive in this direction. If the counter-offensive north of Izyum is confirmed, then this means that the Ukrainian military wants to “break the Russian lines of communication in the area of Izyum and Liman.” That is, to return the settlements under control.
At the same time, the Russians continue to storm Severodonetsk. They are trying to take control of the city. Oleksiy Gromov, Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Headquarters, said that Ukrainian troops continue to resist. They stop the Russian invaders near Metelkino and Sirotino, southeast of Severodonetsk.
