The US House of Representatives, having not approved the bill on financial assistance to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, decided to go on recess until February 28.

13 February The Senate approved bipartisan funding legislation providing aid to Ukraine, Israel and other allied countries. 70 senators voted for this.

But House Speaker Mike Johnson criticized the Senate bill for not being tough enough on American border security, as House Republicans demand. Therefore, Johnson said that he would not promote the document voted on in the Senate in the lower house.

And so it happened — the bill was not voted on. The House of Representatives decided to go into recess until February 28.

Now congressmen must return to consider the draft law at the end of February.
