Ukrainian soldiers have been resisting the Russian invasion for 76 days now. The fiercest battles on May 10 continue in the Eastern Operational Zone: in the Donetsk and Slobozhansky directions, as well as the Azovstal plant.
The situation in the main directions at the front was reported on the morning of May 10 at the Ukrainian General Staff. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repeat: the goal of the enemy is complete control over the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as the maintenance of a land corridor with Crimea.
What is the situation in the main areas
The enemy uses artillery along the entire line of contact. There is also a high probability of missile strikes on civilian and military infrastructure in Ukrainian regions.
It is possible that the Russians will commit acts of sabotage at chemical plants in order to blame the Ukrainian military for this.
Seversk direction
Opponents are heavily guarding the border in the Bryansk and Sumy regions. Russian troops fired from multiple launch rocket systems at border settlements. We are talking about Bolshaya Pisarevka, Belopolye, Krasnopolye and Yunakovka of the Sumy region.
It is expected that the Russians will carry out demonstrative actions in this direction in order to pin down our units and prevent them from moving.
Slobozhanskoe direction
The enemy maintains air defense units and forces on the territory of Belgorodskaya areas. The main goal of the aggressor is to prevent the advance of our troops in the direction of the state border. In the Izyum direction, the enemy was resupplying fuel and ammunition.
Donetsk direction
Russian troops are preparing for an offensive in Liman and Severodonetsk. Fights continue for Voevodovka, Toshkovka and Nizhne Severodonetsk region of Luhansk region. There was also a fierce confrontation in the area of Kamenka, Yasinovatsky district, Donetsk region.
Important! The enemy continues to use artillery and aircraft against Azovstal. Hostilities continue.
Southern Buzh direction
Here the enemy did not conduct active hostilities, but fired at our troops. The Russians are also preparing for assault operations in order to improve their tactical position.
Russian naval groupings isolate combat areas and carry out missile strikes. They also block civilian navigation.
Volyn and Polesye directions
There were no active actions here. Belarusian troops cover the state border in the Brest and Gomel regions.
