Two days of intense heat in Tokyo resulted in the deaths of 14 people. This is with reference to local television reports Teller report.
According to the Tokyo Institute of the medical examination, all the deaths have on 11 and 12 August. 13 of the 14 victims were found at home, that is not exposed to direct sunlight. Eight of them were included. It is noted that among the dead were people aged 50 to 90 years.
In two weeks established in the capital of Japan for hot weather related reasons died 26 people. Every day the temperature rises to 35 degrees Celsius and sometimes higher — up to 37.
In September of 2019 French scientists estimate that in the first two months of the summer of that year due to the heat wave killed more than 1.4 thousand of the French. The state anticipated hot weather, so the death toll has been reduced compared to previous cases such a hot summer.
