Suspicion of embezzlement of state funds/Office of the Prosecutor General
The former head of the State Reserve Agency was informed of a suspicion of a crime. He could spend 9.5 million hryvnias for his own purposes.
If the ex-official's guilt is proven, he will face 2 to 5 years in prison. This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General on April 23.
According to the investigation, the ex-cleaner of the State Reserve of Ukraine in 2017 unreasonably used more than 9.5 million hryvnia of budget funds.
He sent the money to pay and supply of overtime tons of lubricating oil to the state reserve. Although there was no permission to finance fuel.
Currently, law enforcement officers have conducted searches at the place of residence of the suspect. They decide the issue of choosing a preventive measure.
