The head of the United States Department of Defense, Lloyd Austin, will travel to Germany on Monday, March 18, for a meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine in the Ramstein format

Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh stated this at a briefing.

— On Monday, Minister Austin will travel to Germany, where, together with the head of the Committee, K.K. Brown Jr. will host the 20th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group at Ramstein Air Force Base, — she said.

It is indicated that they will join secretaries of defense and senior military officials from nearly 50 countries around the world to discuss the ongoing war in Ukraine and reaffirm that the United States and this coalition continue to stand with the Ukrainian people.< /p>Now watching

Singh added that the allies “will not allow Ukraine to be defeated in the war”.

The twentieth meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in the Ramstein format will take place on March 19 at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

The previous meeting in the Ramstein format was held online on February 14. Then Ukraine’s partners discussed issues of strengthening air defense, artillery systems and drones.
