How Greece is helping Ukraine
- Greece and Germany have agreed on a “circular exchange” scheme, according to which the Greek side will transfer 40 Soviet combat BMP-1 infantry vehicles.
- Since June 27, Greece has suspended the acceptance of documents for visas for Russians. It is said that this is for an indefinite period.
- In addition, for the first time in 22 years, Greece will begin exploration of domestic natural gas deposits in order to get rid of energy dependence on Russia. The country must find out before 2023 whether it has gas reserves that it can use.
