During a government meeting on September 2, a new package of sanctions against Russia was approved. They refer to 99 individuals and 178 legal entities.
Proposals for sanctions were submitted by the authorities on behalf of the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, Iryna Vereshchuk. In particular, we are talking about enterprises of the military-industrial complex and officials of the national banks of Russia and Belarus.
The government imposed sanctions against Putin's daughters
Under new sanctions also hit other Russian and Belarusian companies, as well as citizens who contributed to Russia's aggression against Ukraine and with the help of which the terrorist country tried to circumvent the sanctions applied against it. In particular, restrictions were introduced against:
- Group of companies “Sernia” and related persons. It was them that the Kremlin used to circumvent sanctions restrictions and supply microelectronics products for the needs of the military-industrial complex.
- Russian manufacturers of microelectronics and software, as well as companies involved in hacker attacks.
- Groups companies “Tsargrad”, spreading pro-Russian propaganda, and companies engaged in mining in the interests of the industrial sector of the aggressor country.
Now restrictions against Russia and its supporters will be introduced simultaneously by partner countries and Ukraine.
At the Ministry of Reintegration thanked for cooperation, participation in the preparation of the list and provided proposals:
- Ministrategprom,
- Ministry of Youth and Sports,
- NBU,
- Ministry of Education ,
- Federation of Employers of Ukraine.
