The government has agreed on important changes to military registration for Ukrainians: what is provided for

Today, August 16, the government adopted a resolution on the implementation of a pilot project for the automatic verification and checking of information about conscripts, military personnel and reservists.

The changes were reported by the press service of the Ministry of Reintegration.

What changes are provided for in the rules of military registration

Military registration for conscripts — guys aged 17 to 25 must register for military service without passing the military medical commission (MMC). This applies to both those who live in Ukraine and those who live abroad.

Checking documents abroad — applies to men aged 18 to 60 who are abroad and apply for a Ukrainian or foreign passport. Such men must undergo a check of their military registration documents through the state electronic system Trembita.

Entry into the register — young men aged 16 to 25 who live in Ukraine and apply for a passport will be entered into the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons Liable for Military Service, and Reservists (USRRMS) without undergoing a military medical examination.

This also applies to those who are abroad and want to apply for or receive a passport at Ukrainian missions.

List of men aged 16 to 60 — a list of men aged 16 to 60 years will be compiled, whose data will be entered into the Unified State Register of Persons liable for Military Service and who are subject to military registration.

The Ministry of Reintegration notes that these innovations optimize the information in the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons liable for Military Service and Reservists.
